Not surprisingly, this is slightly riper but much more complex with a nose that remains admirably pure, refined and almost airy with orchard fruit and lemon zest notes introducing full but fine flavors brimming with dry extract and good power, all wrapped in a palate staining finish brimming with an underlying energy. I very much like the level of extract as it completely buffers the firm acid spine and confers a seductively sappy texture to the dry finish. - BH
