DELAWARE — October 20, 2025 — Acker’s October US auction, held on Friday, October 17, achieved $4.6 Million in sales, led by significant Featured Collections including The Time Capsule, Treasures from Tribeca Grill and The Collection of Brian Sheth. The sale drew heightened engagement from collectors worldwide, marked by a substantial increase in bidder registrations and robust demand for fine wines across all segments of the market.
The Top Ten Lots of the sale were led by twelve bottles of 2000 Château Pétrus in OWC, which realized $68,750. The second position was a tie between two offerings from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti — three bottles of 2014 and three bottles of 2006 Romanée-Conti in banded OWC each achieving $50,000. Two bottles of 1991 Romanée-Conti and six bottles of 2002 La Tâche in OWC followed at $43,750 and $35,000, respectively. Six bottles of 1990 Château Pétrus in OWC secured the sixth spot at $32,500, while two magnums of 1990 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape reached $27,500, setting a New World Record. DRC returned in eighth place with a bottle of 2015 Romanée-Conti garnering $25,000, followed by six bottles of 2013 Domaine Leroy Gevrey-Chambertin Les Combottes in OWC at $22,500. Rounding out the list were five magnums of 2017 Dujac Chambertin in OWC and four bottles of 2001 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche, both realizing $20,000.
“The diversity and caliber of the Featured Collections on offer drove exceptional activity and a wave of new bidders stimulated the overall success of the sale,” noted Auction Director Truly Hardy. “We’re seeing sustained enthusiasm for the world’s greatest wines as the world’s greatest collections continue to choose Acker. We continue to set the pace for a dynamic autumn season, with upcoming auctions in Singapore, Switzerland, and an encore auction in the US in November. Close to $20 Million more is coming!”
