Ceretto Cube
Bricco Rocche Winery, Castiglione Falletto, 2000
Few names in Piedmont carry as much reverence or importance as the Ceretto family. Along with Angelo Gaja they are responsible for bringing the wines of Barolo and Barbaresco international recognition, pioneering modern winemaking methods while respecting Piedmont tradition. The Ceretto’s were one of the first Italian estates to employ the Burgundian concept of single-vineyard wines, or Crus, of which the family owns an incredible array. The elegant Ceretto wines are all estate bottled and terroir-driven, made with stunning purity and precision.
Federico Ceretto, always the gracious host, welcomes us to his home and flagship winery at Bricco Rocche for a magical evening of panoramic views, grand wines, and Piedmontese hospitality. The experience begins with an aperitif in the amazing Ceretto Cube, an architectural marvel perched above the Bricco Rocche monopole, offering sweeping views of Castiglione di Falletto’s most iconic Crus: Bricco Rocche, Rocche di Castiglione, Villero, Monprivato, Bricco Boschis, and Fiasco. On a clear day, the view stretches from the villages of Barolo and La Morra to the famed vineyards of Cannubi and Brunate—and even as far as Vigna Rionda in Serralunga d'Alba.
After the sun sets, Federico will lead us on a private tour of the amazing Bricco Rocche winery, including a cellar tasting of the family’s top Crus.
Wines for the tasting include:
Barbaresco Bernadot 2022
Barbaresco Asili 2022
Barolo Brunate 2021
Barolo Bussia 2021
Barolo Bricco Rocche 2021
Barolo Prapò 2021
A traditional Piedmontese dinner hosted by Federico will follow in the main dining room beneath the Cube. The dinner will include Ceretto Barolo in magnum, featuring Cassa 13, a rare, magnum-only release from a tiny east–southeast-facing parcel atop Cannubi San Lorenzo. To make the evening even more festive, he has invited several close friends from Castiglione di Falletto, along with their wines, to turn the night into a true Barolo celebration.
Wines for the dinner include (all served from magnum):
Ceretto Barolo 2021
Ceretto Barolo Cassa 13* Cannubi San Lorenzo 2013
Ceretto Barolo Cassa 13* Cannubi San Lorenzo 2010
Ceretto Barolo Cassa 13* Cannubi San Lorenzo 2008
Ceretto Moscato d'Asti I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano 2024
And of course, a few unforgettable surprises from guest winemaker friends.

A legend among legends, Roberto Conterno welcomes us for an intimate white truffle dinner at his favorite restaurant, the one-Michelin star Il Centro in Priocca, run by the Cordero family. Over the course of the evening, he will guide us through a remarkable journey of his estate’s most profound wines, Monfortino reaching back to the 1950’s
The Conterno name is synonymous with tradition and excellence in Piedmont. A pillar of the region’s winemaking heritage, Roberto began working full-time at the estate in 1988 and assumed full leadership following his father’s passing in 2004. Today, he continues to craft age-worthy Barolo with unwavering commitment to the classical style that defines this historic estate.

Masters of Traditional Barolo Dinner: Icons & White Truffles
celebrating the icons of traditional Barolo & Barbaresco
Friday, November 7, 2025 | 7:00pm
Guido da Costigliole (*Michelin)
SP51, 12058 Santo Stefano Belbo CN, Italy
Every great wine region has its local heroes—and in Barolo, that hero is Bartolo Mascarello. As the modern school of winemaking began gaining traction in the 1980s and 1990s, Bartolo stood firm in his devotion to tradition. Alongside Giovanni Conterno, Bruno Giacosa, and Beppe Rinaldi, he helped preserve the soul of classical Barolo.
If Bartolo Mascarello was the movement’s steadfast guardian, Bruno Giacosa was its undisputed king. The Giacosa estate crafts soulful, complex wines from some of the finest Crus in both Barolo and Barbaresco.
Giuseppe Rinaldi remains a connoisseur’s favorite. While production at the estate is exceptionally limited, its wines are among Barolo’s most revered.
Mauro Mascarello, fourth-generation owner and winemaker at Giuseppe Mascarello, is a thoughtful steward of his family’s legacy. Though open to subtle experimentation, he remains deeply committed to the traditional methods that have defined the estate for decades.
The evening unfolds at Guido da Costigliole, a Michelin-starred restaurant housed in the ancient vaulted cellars of Relais San Maurizio, our home throughout the trip. With its refined setting, historic charm, and deep culinary roots, it’s a fitting backdrop for a dinner celebrating the traditional icons of Barolo—paired with a modern interpretation of classic Piedmontese cuisine, truffles included.
Wines for the dinner include:
Bartolo Mascarello Barolo (2010, 2006, 1990, 1989)
Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Riservas (Asili 2004, Rabajà 2001, Santo Stefano 1988)
Bruno Giacosa Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva 2001
Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Le Coste (2009, 2008, 2005),
